Age of Empires Edit
Alligators are used as a food source, although it is the third most dangerous animal in the game (after Lions and Elephants). They are usually found where land and water meet and sometimes found in groups, although usually they are on their own. They fight back whenever a unit approaches within its line of sight, which is around 4 cells. More than one villager is recommended for attacking them, however, they normally move quite slowly, enough so that your villager can usually get away and possibly lead them to a storage pit for easy harvestings.
Age of MythologyEdit
Alligators are wild animals that will attack units on sight. They are dangerous to villagers and can easily kill one. They should be attacked in groups of at least three and provide 100 Food if killed.
Age of Empires III Edit
Alligators are non-huntable animals and are usually treasure guardians, though they can also be found resting in the wild as well. Alligators are found usually in a jungle map like in South America, the lower parts of North America and the Caribbean. Alligators are usually near a water source such as a river or swamp.
They are weak and not very dangerous except in groups, due to their lack of any resistances and low damage even settlers can effectively clear them from treasures.
