Cuauhtémoc (c1495-1525) is the narrator of the Aztec campaign in Age of Empires II and is the AI personality of the Aztecs in the Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs. He is voiced by Juan Monsalvez in The WarChiefs. He is also a playable character in the Aztec campaign's 4th scenario as the started Jaguar Warrior, although his name is just simply "Jaguar Warrior" and he does not appears in the editor .

BiographyEdit

Cuauhtemoc was the Aztec ruler of Tenochtitlan from 1520 to 1521. He was a cousin of former emperor Montezuma II and married one of his daughters. Cuauhtemoc was eventually captured, tortured, and killed by the Spanish, led by Hernan Cortes.

In-Game PersonalityEdit

In Age of Empires II, Cuauhtemoc speaks in a calm voice and worries about the future of his people. In The WarChiefs, the Aztec ruler's personality is more bloodthirsty and violent. He oftens refers to himself in the third person and makes many references to human sacrifice.
